  • Can I add my Prosper® Card to my digital wallet?

    Yes, once you're approved you can add your Prosper® Card to your digital wallet.

    Download the Prosper® Card app on the App Store or the Google Play Store, then select Digital Card and follow the prompts to add it your phone's digital wallet.

  • Does the Prosper® Card require a security deposit?

    No. This is unusual for a card open to people with less-than-perfect credit, but there's no security deposit required for the Prosper® Card. We believe that not requiring a security deposit is a great first step to helping people reclaim control of their finances.

  • I have less-than-perfect credit. Should I still apply for the Prosper® Card?

    We welcome applicants with less-than-perfect credit. Plus, checking to see whether you qualify won’t affect your credit score.

  • Will applying affect my credit score?

    No. You can check to see whether you qualify and, if you do qualify, see your estimated Prosper® Card interest rate and credit line amount with no impact to your credit score. If you decide to finish the process and get the Prosper® Card, we will post your newly approved credit card to your credit profile, which could lower your credit score slightly.
